Sidney Street is nestled in the quiet Summerhill neighbourhood of Toronto. Its leafy streets, proximity to parks and schools, and genuine sense of community make it a sought after location for families to live.
Our clients were one such young family who recognized the neighbourhood’s attractive qualities, but saw immense potential in the traditional 2-storey home on Sidney Street they recently purchased.
With the help of their architects, they decided to replace their home’s small, separated living areas with a fresh, modern, open-concept design that featured increased ceiling heights on all floors, as well as a fully finished basement. The intent was to transform a traditional home into a modern space designed just for them.
With a clear vision of what they wanted to achieve, as well as specific budget to work with, the clients approached WPML to partner with them and their architects to make the concept a reality. WPML had worked with the architect on successful projects in the past, and were excited at the prospect of collaborating again to bring another beautiful design to life.
