Tysen Lee
PRINCIPAL
As president of WPML Inc., Tysen leads a team of project management and construction professionals to ensure an exceptional experience for our clients.
Tysen’s experience as an onsite project manager has allowed him to interact directly with both clients and tradespeople as both partner and guide. This collaborative approach is applied to everything Tysen touches, from client care to project development to budget management.
During each phase of construction, Tysen works closely with all parties, developing effective cost reductions or adding value engineering to deliver projects that meet the client’s exact specifications. A high level of effective communication is key to managing the expectations of all involved.
Tysen holds a B.F.A in Industrial Design, Carnegie Mellon University.
John B. Good
DIRECTOR OF CONSTRUCTION
John brings more than 45 years of design, planning, and construction experience to WPML. He is a two-time winner of Best Builder, Low Volume award from the Toronto Home Builders Association, and has also won the Excellence in Design Award, Town of Markham Design Excellence Awards.
John’s long-term, hands-on approach to construction projects helps him guide our clients through the often-emotional process of building their home, and helps balance their financial interests with their expectations.
John holds a Diploma, Community Planning from Mohawk College.
Jeff Pepper
SUPERVISOR OF CONSTRUCTION – COLLINGWOOD
With 25 years’ experience working on residential and commercial builds from start to finish, Jeff offers a wealth of skills and knowledge to WPML’s clients.
His hands-on expertise was developed through progressive construction roles such as framing carpenter, finish carpenter, and site supervisor, giving him a unique perspective in coordinating design with the site trades to deliver beautiful design builds.
Jeff is the primary site contact for WPML’s clients, ensuring prompt and attentive communication on work schedules and budgets, as well as providing complete client satisfaction.
Darren McFarland
SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER
Darren brings a longstanding family tradition of working in the trades to WPML, applying his high standard of construction expertise and service excellence to ensure the best possible client experience.
With decades of hands-on experience in the field demonstrating technical innovation and attention to detail, he strives to keep every project on track, both in timing and financially. His demonstrated ability to understand client needs and project designs enables him to consistently deliver high quality products and results.
In his spare time, Darren restores old houses, including his own century home.
Martin Orlinski
PROJECT CO-ORDINATOR
Martin specializes in both new build and renovation projects, handling all facets of the construction process from Requests for Proposals right through to the final closeout.
His interdisciplinary experience involves working internally with project managers, estimators, and accountants, as well as externally with architects, designers, and tradespeople, tying everything together to help deliver projects on time and on budget.
Martin holds a Construction Project Management Certificate and Construction Estimating Certificate from George Brown College, as well as an Associate’s Degree from International Academy of Design and Technology.
Carly Brown
OFFICE CO-ORDINATOR
Carly is the first point of contact in our office. She is the one who directs queries to the right team member in a timely manner. She manages the back-stage of WPML so our day-to-day operations run smoothly and efficiently.
She applies her strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills to ensure the financial transactions with the trades, clients and suppliers are accurate and timely so there are no billing surprises later.
Carly’s past roles in customer service and office administration have prepared her to accommodate strict project timelines while providing both our team and our clients with the support required.
John Gordon
SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER
John has shown a special interest in carpentry and woodworking from an early age. At 13 he helped build his first home and has been working in the industry ever since.
His passion for helping his clients build their dream homes is evident as he takes on every new project with a positive attitude and exceptional organizational skills. He always establishes realistic expectations while coordinating projects to ensure the overall experience is enjoyable for everyone and the deliverable exceeds expectations.
John’s diploma in Engineering Technology, provides him with added skills for better understanding of architectural drawings and easy correspondence with Architects.
John brings great value to every project he is involved in.
Ryan Nienhaus
PROJECT MANAGER
Ryan has over 20 years’ experience working on a combination of residential and commercial construction projects. Construction is in his blood; he was doing demolition work alongside his family when he was in his teens and progressed into a role as a small engine mechanic.
This jack of all trades brings an abundance of construction knowledge to every project. Ryan’s positive attitude and easy-going nature makes it easy for him to communicate with clients. His top priority is to ensure all projects are completed on time and to the highest satisfaction.
Brad Kimoff
PROJECT MANAGER
Brad has spent the last 25 years building in residential and commercial settings.
His background as a graduate of Ryerson’s Landscape Architecture program and his experience as a forestry technician have given him a valuable wealth of knowledge in the construction industry. An easy temperament and good work ethic allow him to be adaptable to the ever changing situations that can arise on a jobsite.
With exceptional communication skills and versality he makes a great member of the WPML team.
Robert Nowacki
PROJECT MANAGER
With five years in project management at Bombardier and over 20 years in construction, Robert has a detailed oriented style mixed with old European precision.
He’s worked on many projects in the Toronto area with top residential and commercial designers and is a team player with a great understanding of deliverables and customer satisfaction.
In his spare time he works on interior finishing.
Erik Martyn
JUNIOR SUPERVISOR
We have known Erik for years as he was worked with us on many projects over the years through a sub-contractor. The pandemic created a lot of changes, but it also presented a lot of opportunities and one was the chance to get Erik on our team.
Erik is meticulous and methodical. He as years of experience applying building envelope membranes, back framing and managing site safety.
Erik has completely Supervisor Competency training.
